Tomorrow we leave. The forcast is a Huge high pressure system WAY north meaning a LONG trip back. I finished picking up personal items, the satellite phone, gifts, a last pizza, and worked on my lee cloth. Mitchel, the boat guy who has been shuttling us, is very interesting. His neighbor killed himself yesterday. He found out he had cancer that had spread all over, so he wrote mitchel a letter and paddled out to let the sharks have him. They found his body latter that day. Mitchel said he cried 9 times and told me about each one. I started crying before it was all over. He told me that "ha" means the breath of life, Jesus. Like in aloHA or HAwaii and maHAlo. Jesus is every where and everything he told me. He said the bible stands for basic instructions before leaving earth and that he goes to church 3 times a year, Christmas, Easter and mothers day. He said people ask him why he diesnt go to church and thence asks them who blessed Abraham? When they can't answer he says, "you mean to tell me you go to church each week and put money in the pot and u can't answer that?" I couldn't Agree with that sentiment more. He also talked about mis- translations in the bible between sun and son and basically it was over my head but the drift I understand. The sun is IS the son and the "light". I tend to agree more with this than the anglo-saxon version we r force feed. This is twice this trip religion has moved me.... Anyway, just waiting down at the tree for the remaining sailors and finishing up my lee cloth. I hope to try a sextant sight again tonight (it ain't easy) and I'm looking forward to being underway. If any thing does go horrible wrong in this trip, I'm sorry Darwin and I love you. (it won't be just to cover the basis)
